Unpolished
Your item will be supplied as is from the casting process, attached with sprues and no finishing. Ideal if you want to finish your piece yourself.
Matte Finish
Choose this option for a non-reflective, matte appearance which is achieved by machine polish and then sandblasting the cast piece.
£12 inc VAT per item
Natural Polish
Our process combines machine tumbling for a smooth, rounded finish with a final hand polish, leaving your piece with a bright, polished shine.
£24 inc VAT per item
High Polish
Our skilled master polishers apply this high-quality finish, resulting in a brilliant, mirror-like shine. It offers a glossy finish that can reach most surfaces, including some that are harder to polish compared to a ‘natural’ polish. However, internal areas or spots that are difficult to access may remain unpolished.

Frequently Asked Questions
When placing your precious metal casting order, select one of the following finishes; unpolished, matte finish, natural polish or high polish. Once your item has been cast, our skilled master polishers will apply the finish you have chosen.
If you choose one our polishing options, it will take 13 working days to print, cast and polish your piece.
Our polishing prices start from £12 (inc VAT) per item, depending on the option selected.
We offer the following:
Unpolished – where your item will be supplied as is from casting including sprues attached. Matte finish – your item will be sandblasted for a matte appearance.
Natural polish – your item will be machine tumbled followed by a final hand polish for a smooth, rounded finish.
High polish – your item will receive a high quality finish from our skilled master polishers.
Note with all polishing options, internal areas or spots that are difficult to access may remain unpolished.
Jewellery Polishing Service
Discover our polishing options for your precious metal casting pieces. Here at Cooksongold we offer a complete service, so once completely casted you have the option to have your item supplied to you unpolished giving you the chance to finish your piece or you can select one of our inhouse polishing options.
