Rhino 3D
On its own Rhino3D is a 3D printing software used in multiple industries for 3D design. It can be customised with paid add ons, which allows you to create jewellery specific items such as rings. - Not beginner friendly

- Limited history to go back and alter designs
General CAD
The software below is used widely used for other 3D Printing types but can be used and adapted to fit jewellery applications and more.
Free Resources
Blender is a free and open source application that enables 3D modelling alongside other features such as animation and 2D design. There are plenty of resources available online as well as plugins for jewellery design. Visit their website for the further details.

Jewellery Software
These software have features to allow you to model your pieces, and often have features such as stone setting designs, or fixed shapes to you translate your design accurately for 3D Printing.
3Design
Intuitively built for jewellers with multiple modules and customisation options to allow both organic design and sculpting that also features costing options within its interface. There are many license options just contact your local representative to find out more.

MatrixGold
