Delivery of STL File
We’ll email you the precise STL file of your item, free for you to use and modify as you wish.
What can you scan?
We can scan a variety of different items including jewellery, dental wear, cultural heritage preservation items such as medals, natural items like wood and shells, toys and miniatures, industrial parts, prototypes and much more.
Our 3D scanning service allows you to preserve your treasured items as digital replicas, which can then be scaled, replicated, amended the design, reverse-engineered, and much more.
Prices start at just £48 inc VAT. Pricing is determined by the dimensions and complexity of the object being scanned.

Frequently Asked Questions
Costs start at £48 (inc VAT) for a scan, however it is dependent on size and complexity of the object.
Add as much information as possible in the form's description section. This can include the size, full dimensions, stone sizes (if applicable), metal, as well photos of your object. With any images provided, take from different angles.
Our standard lead time is 7 working days, however this can increase to 10 working days during busy periods such as Christmas. If you have a deadline, please let us know this when you submit your enquiry.
Transforming your tangible items into STL files, compatible with any CAD software, empowers you to enhance your creativity and manipulate intricate designs ready for 3D wax printing.
Our technology allows you to seamlessly digitise the objects you can touch and see, delivering a hassle-free STL file for your creative endeavours. Imagine being able to treasure a digital replica of a precious item that you own, you can 3D wax print and recreate it at any time.
Once you have approved the invoice for your scan, you will post the object to us. Once the object is delivered and received by us, the scan will be completed and e-mailed across to you within the next 7 working days.
The largest object we can scan is up to 90 × 60 × 60 mm
All popular formats, including STL or OBJ, and PLY if requested.

This is a great way to quickly recreate something complex that may be difficult and time consuming to recreate by hand. 3D scanning is also a great way to recreate something no longer in production.
With the full service we offer here at Cooksongold, once happy with your 3D scanned image, your design that can then go through our 3D printing and casting process be turned into jewellery or cast into replicas.
