Temporary €3 Customs Duty (1st July 2026)

From 1 July 2026, the European Union will introduce a temporary customs duty on many imports valued at €150 or less.

A €3 customs charge will apply for each product group*. These charges are not collected at checkout. In most cases, your courier will contact you to collect any applicable charges before your order is delivered.

This temporary customs charge does not apply to eligible B2B orders where a valid EORI number is supplied.

*A product group is determined by the item's customs classification and country of origin. For example, an order containing an Italian-made necklace and a UK-made blow torch would incur €6 (€3 per product group). Two Italian-made necklaces would incur €3.

Orders Under €150

On goods and orders under €150 we charge VAT in our checkout. This should lead to a smoother transition through the border. Please note the above temporary charge will apply. Other charges and carrier fees may also apply.

Orders over €150

For goods and orders over €150, you will not be charged VAT on your order at checkout. However you may be charged, duties, VAT and charges by customs or by the carrier in your country. The temporary charge noted above does not apply to orders over €150.

You are responsible for paying any duties, taxes or additional costs levied on your product at the time of importation, and for paying those costs. Please be aware that in the event of refusal to pay local taxes, we will not be able to refund your order until the goods have arrived back with us.
