Our range includes everything from abrasive boards and wet and dry paper to polishing wheels and polishing compounds. Our versatile range of polishing materials are suitable for all jewellery makers.
Our impressive range includes products from industry leading brands Luxi, Foredom, 3M and more.
Abrasive Papers and Sticks – Abrasive papers are available in a variety of grits and are primarily used for preparing your metal. Papers can be used either wet or dry and are generally used between flint and polishing. Abrasive sticks work in a similar fashion to papers but are suited more to reach tighter, confined areas. Both papers and sticks are available in a variety of grits. Grits are graded from 60 which is the most coarsest to 7000 which is very fine. It is recommended that for best results, abrasive papers and sticks are used in order from coarsest to finest.
Polishing Compounds – Polishing compounds are designed to work with polishing mops and wheels. Suitable for use on a range of metals, compounds are used at all stages of the making process. From first stage preparation that is designed to remove deep scratches to rouge bars that are used for final polishing stages to create that mirror shine, polishing compounds are a great way to achieve high quality results.
Abrasive Discs – Designed to be used with either pendant motors, micromotors or hobby drills, abrasive discs are suited for every stage of the polishing process. From coarse discs that are designed for heavier material removal to fine discs that can help achieve a smooth, mirror finish.
Brushes and Cleaning Clothes – Glass brushes and scratch brushes are ideal for surface preparation. Easily able to clean the harder to reach areas, these specific brushes are made from glass fibres and will leave a matt finish.
Cleaning Cloth Wheels – For use with polishing motors, cleaning cloth mops are made from high quality cotton and are suited more to the middle to late polishing stage. Polishing cloths are ideal for removing any marks and are durable options making them ideal for the more demanding, high end projects.
We have everything you need right here, for every stage of the polishing process. Whether you are after polishing materials that can be used by hand or in conjunction with polishing motors and micromotors, our extensive range of accessories covers all of the essential tools a jewellery maker needs.
