November and December's DOTM Winner: Purplefish Designs
The judges chose this piece because they really loved how Andrea was able to create ugly Christmas jumper earrings with symmetrical detail. On theme and actually not that ugly. Very clever!
Andrea said the following about the piece, "This design was initially carved from wax, and cast in sterling silver. Once it was polished up and the loop was soldered on, a rubber mould was made to reproduce the design. Ear hooks are handmade from 8mm Cookson sterling silver wire."
