July's DOTM Winner: Silvermagic Jewellery

The design transforms an everyday object into a whimsical wearable sculpture, showcasing not only excellent technical skills but also a strong sense of imagination and personality. Kathryn said the following about the piece:
"This is Baba Yagas' dancing hut locket with opening door. She is a slavic witch who has a hut that dances on chicken legs and she zooms around on a morter and pestle (soldered on round the back). There are wind chimes of star moon and lightning as well. This was the first thing I made after recovering from a broken right wrist so I was particularly pleased with this. Sterling silver, peridot, garnet and amethyst."
