April's DOTM Winner: Michaela Bingham Jewellery
The judges chose this piece because they liked how beautifully ethereal this piece is. It seems like an engagement ring that would be fitting for an elf in Lord of the Rings. Add to that the moissanite and details of the leaves. Stunning!
Anna said the following about the piece, "I made this sterling silver ring recently as a prototype for my first engagement ring.
Using the balled up ends of wire I forged leaves, engraved lines on them, and wound them onto a sterling silver band before soldering to create an organic "grown" look. A handmade setting using tube and wire was soldered on before finally setting a stunning Moissanite."
