Design of the month competition

September's DOTM Winner: Silver by Andrea

The judges chose this piece because they loved the fun and whimsical way Andrea used the Autumn Theme. She created something that not only screams this theme but also shows her design prowess and talent. We also liked her way of using copper, silver, labradorite, amber and the amount of detail each charm has on the necklace.

Andrea said the following about the piece, "I made this Autumn charm necklace. The charms are silver, some with copper embellishments. I wanted it to show some of my favourite aspects of the season. The central stone is a beautiful green amber, the hedgehog is set with an amber stone and the spider is set with labradorite. It's difficult to get a photograph that shows all the charms in detail."
