Cookson recycled gold has been recycled back via a traceable process into fine gold. The feed material for it comes in the form of scrap from market sectors such as the jewellery, giftware, medical and electronics industries.
When you buy recycled gold from Cookson Precious Metals you're purchasing a 100% recycled gold with none of the associated human or environmental problems that can sometimes be associated with mining. You're also buying gold whose origins will appeal to your customers - in an increasingly eco-aware marketplace.
Prices for precious metal products are an estimate only and can vary slightly depending upon the metal price, the actual weight and the cutting tolerances which we are able to achieve.

This peg is great if you need to attach to a desk. Easy to customise.

I’m a beginner and this has so far been a doddle to set up and use.

The product is on a the bench and I’m happy with it. If I hadn’t had to do a wee bit filing on the metal to get the wooden peg in it would have had five stars. But it was easy to do with the right tools. Here’s to many years making jewellery.

I'm not very satisfied with this product. It could be a nice object but the anvil part in my opinion is really too soft. Just a very light hammer blow is sufficient to leave a sign. The Anvil beeing almost unusable for what I need... it remains an useful clamp with a shaped piece of wood...
Cooksongold replies : Dear Mr Carlini, Thank you for your review, your feedback is really important to us. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the Bench Peg and Anvil. As you recently purchased this we are obviously happy to take the item back under our returns guarantee. Kind Regards, Emma

Having 2in1 peg and anvil is incredibly practical. While the peg is quite small, you'll get used to it once you start using it regularly. Anvil is of a good quality and don't get easily damaged while hammering. This tool can be attached anywhere, so it's the first thing you'll need as a beginner with little workspace.

This is a great little peg and anvil. Very versiatile. You could have them at many places around the work bench if you have the room. The only downside is that the steel anvil is not hard enough and mine has become pitted with my inaccurate hammering
