How To Cut Brass Sheet

If you’ve never cut brass sheet before, it can be tricky to know where to start. There’s more than one way of cutting brass sheet. You can cut it using shears and snips, or if you prefer, you can opt for a jeweller’s saw and bench pin to keep your work steadfast. You should always wear safety glasses before starting your jewellery making.

To ensure that you stick to the pattern you’re after, keep blowing any shavings away from your metal. If your blade begins to feel stuck, double check how much tension you are applying. Add lubricants to smooth the movement of the blade.
