Unless you have hours to spare don't bother. Messy sticky stringy mess or too firm to get impression. Did eventually win and the fine detail was there but PMC clay stuck to it so ruined the piece.

Cooksongold replies:I am sorry to hear you have experienced difficulty working with this. If it gets hard while you are working with it, simply place it back in the water to begin the process again. Once happy, leave your mould to cool and harden completely. Do not put this modelling material on your hotplate to dry your metal clay, your mould will soften and loose its shape. We recommend air drying until the metal clay is dry enough to pop out of the mould.Regards Robert

Not very impressed with this, as hard to manage. Will probably take more practice, but prefer siligum for use as moulds for silver clay.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the previous reviewer. After I left the material in water heated to above 80 degrees, I followed the rest of the instructions: "After 3 minutes the piece will get translucent which means it is soft enough for pressing the design into. If it gets hard while you are working with it, simply place it back in the water to begin the process again." The product did not go translucent at all, nor even with repeated heating to the appropriate temperature, it quickly went back to its original shape while I was trying to work an object into it. Not at all recommended for mould-making.

Cooksongold replies:

Hi, Thank you for your review,  I'm sorry to hear that this product does not meet expectations. We work hard to provide products that represent good quality and value for money. Please let us know if something is not to your expectation. We are always happy to replace or refund any products that are not suitable under our Returns Policy.
Kind Regards, Rienna.

Rubbish product. No instructions when this arrived. I found some online as to how to use it. It doesn't cast clearly and so far I haven't been able to melt in order to reuse!

Cooksongold replies:

Hi, Thank you for your feedback, We are sorry to see that you have given this Modelling Material 1 Star. We would recommend you try to heat up your Modelling Material to a slightly higher temperature. The modelling material should be placed into hot water above 80 ºC for around 3 minutes until the piece becomes translucent. If you require any further assistance with the use of this product, do not hesitate to contact us on 0345 100 1122 where our members of staff will be on hand to help. Kind Regards, Rienna.
