Cooksongold’s natural amber gemstones are formed through the fossilisation of tree resin from long extinct coniferous trees. These trees date back to the tertiary period, over 50 million years ago! During fossilisation plants and insects would become trapped in the sticky resin – this gives the amber gemstones their unique characteristics that will help in the production stunning amber gemstone jewellery designs.
