Technical Questions

I get a error stating that 'session has timed out' - what does this mean ?

The above message will be displayed if you start a basket and do no add anything to your basket within three hours.

However don’t panic, your basket will still be saved. Simply log back to the main online shop menu and continue shopping.

Why can't I register ?

If you are not being accepted for registration, carefully check your form and ensure that any field marked 'required' has an entry.

When logging in ensure that your password is typed exactly as you entered it when registering. If you still have problems registering or logging in contact our customer service team on 0845 100 1122 or email birmingham.sales@cooksongold.com.

I am an export customer and I can’t register, what do I do ?

If you are not being accepted for registration, carefully check your form and ensure that any field marked 'required' has an entry.

You might experience problems entering the telephone number in the required fields on the application form.

To solve the issue, please enter the telephone number without the dashes and spaces (also ensure the dialing code is included).

If this is not the issue and you are still experiencing problems, please contact our customer service team on +44 121 200 2120.

I am having trouble finding where to enter the VAT number on my account- where do I go ?

You enter the VAT number on the Registration form. Please ensure you enter just the numbers with no spaces.

To add onto an existing account, click on 'your account' and from the following menu select the 'personal details' tab. You will then be able to add the VAT number onto your account.
