Thank you for your interest in becoming Cooksongold's Designer of the Month on our blog The Bench!

 

Becoming our Designer of the Month is a great way to share a bit about yourself and your work with us and the jewellery making community, so it it's lovely to hear that you are thinking of getting involved.

We are currently on the lookout for jewellery makers to become our Designer of the Month for January 2020 and onwards, so if this sounds like it is for you simply follow the below instructions to provide us with your details.

Step One

Register your interest for Designer of the Month by filling out this application form.

 

Step Two

Once you have sent us your details and we have considered your application, we will then be in touch at a later stage with an update on available dates in 2020 and beyond.

At this point we will also ask you to provide answers to a short set of interview questions as well as some images of your work for us to include in your interview.

These questions cover your work as a jeweller, background and inspiration among other areas.

 

Step Three

Complete the set of interview questions, return them to us via email alongside some images of your work.

Please note that your finished interview will need to be emailed back to us no later than the first working day of the month for which you are our featured designer, otherwise we will be unable to publish your interview on our blog.

 

Step Four

Your interview will be published on our blog The Bench at some point during the month agreed with yourself in Step Two (above), along with the images of your pieces and links to your website and social media (if provided).

FAQs

Are you just looking for experienced jewellers to be featured as Designer of the Month?

We are looking for anybody that wants to get involved! Whether you are an established goldsmith or silversmith with your own business, or someone who makes jewellery in their spare time, we want to hear from you!

 

How many questions are in the interview?

The interview isn't too long so it won't take up much of your time to complete - there are currently 10 questions on the form, all of which are pretty straightforward to answer.

 

 

Cooksongold Designer of the Month Terms and Conditions

To register your interest for Designer of the Month, submit your details using this application form. Completed interview questions will need to be submitted via the same method by no later than the first working day of the month for which you are our featured designer.

Please note that by registering your interest this is not a guarantee that you will be selected as our Designer of the Month in the immediate future - whether or not this is the case will be confirmed in our response to your initial application. If you are not selected, we may wish to keep your details on record for future Designer of the Month features.

You are providing your information to Cookson Precious Metal Ltd, 59-83 Vittoria Street, Birmingham, B1 3NZ, UK. All images and answers submitted as part of Designer of the Month must be the original work of the individual submitting them and must not infringe the rights of any other party.

In being chosen as Cooksongold's Designer of the Month, you give Cooksongold permission to use and distribute the content and images from your interview on their blog. This content may also be included on our social media channels including (but not exclusively) Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram as well as in any other marketing or any other promotional material. To opt out of this, please state clearly when submitting your completed interview questions that you wish to do so.

Copyright for all imagery submitted for inclusion in Designer of the Month remains with the respective entrants. Cooksongold reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. These terms and conditions shall be governed in accordance with English law.

The information you provide will be used for Designer of the Month purposes only. We will never sell your data and we promise to keep your details safe and secure.
