Precious Metal Clay and Art Clay Silver both mix silver with an organic binder, creating a material that has the feel and working properties of modelling clay. Using simple clay tools objects can be moulded, given shape, texture and character. The pieces are then dried, and then heated. The binder burns away, and the silver fuses together to leave a piece of fine silver. This piece is then polished soldered or enamelled like any other silver item.
