Adding coloured beads and found objects

Ready to get started?
To make this style pendant mix follow the same instructions as above, mix your resin accuratley using scales and stir thoroughly without creating too many bubbles.

Pour one layer of resin into your silver pendant of choice. Again it is important to use a silicon mat to protect any surfaces.

Add beads into the resin and create a pattern in the pendant. You can use tweezers to pick up the beads and arrange them in the resin.

When you’re happy with how the beads are arranged use the remaining resin to top up the pendant and cover the beads. Leave the resin to cure.
Did you know? You can also add most found objects to resin as long as they are dry and free from moisture such as plastic children’s toys, seeds, broken jewellery etc.
You can also follow the same method and add mica powder and metallic foil/leaf

Once you have poured the resin into your pendant, use tweezers to add your foil or metallic leaf. Make sure the foil is in contact with the resin. Leave the resin to cure.
Did you know? Mica powder and metallic foil are available in all sorts of colours and are easy to use.
These are two really simple and easy to follow projects and with our resin starter kit, it couldn’t be easier to make jewellery with resin so why not give it a try?
