A greasy substance used for the lubrication of steel
burrs, piercing blades, drills etc.
Helps prevent 'chatter' and aids in the smooth cutting
of materials - also prolongs the life of the burr.

given the cost of burrs, this adds life and longevity to each one. I have used beeswax and this and this wins everytime. It is clean and leaves a small residue that cleans away easily without leaving any marks on your work.A definate addition to the workbench.
