Topaz is known for being the promoter of truth and forgiveness. Ancient Egyptians believed that the topaz gemstone was coloured by the golden glow of the Sun God Ra. A versatile gemstone, the topaz can occur in a variety of colours. Our range of topaz comes in all shapes and sizes including traditional briolette drops, cabochons, and round and oval shapes. Alternatively we also stock the extravagant topaz in an octagonal shape – perfect for statement jewellery pieces, and trendy heart shapes for funkier jewellery pieces. It is considered the topaz birthstone for November if it is a yellow topaz and December if it is a blue topaz. The name originates from the Greek word ‘topazion’, originating from ‘tapas’ which is the Sanskrit for fire. Looking for inspiration to help you make amazing topaz jewellery pieces?
