Learn how to make a heart with a hole pendant using Efcolour enamels with our step-by-step guide.

Step 1
Lightly sand one side of the copper blank with an abrasive block.
Step 2
Place the blank on an u-strip and sprinkle evenly with red Efcolor enamelling powder.
Step 3
Use the spatula to transfer the powdered blank to the firing plate.
Step 4
Place the firing plate on to a tray and then place in your oven at 160°c.
Leave it there for 3-5 minutes until the powder has melted.
Step 5
With the help of a wooden peg remove the firing plate from the oven and leave to cool.
Step 6
Lay the stencil over the blank and sprinkle it evenly with white Efcolor enamelling powder. Use enough powder to hide the red colour.
Step 7
Carefully lift the stencil and slide it to one side.
Use tweezers to place a crystal bead in position on the blank.
Step 8
Use the spatula to transfer the powdered blank to the firing plate.
Step 9
Place the firing plate back in the oven. Leave it there for 3 – 5 minutes until the powder has melted.
Step 10
With the help of a wooden peg remove the firing stand from the oven.
Leave the blank on the stand to cool.
Step 11
Thread the cord through the hole in the blank. Thread beads onto the cord.
