Step 1

To attach the moon hold the jump ring with two pairs of pliers—one in each hand.

Twist one side forward and the other side backward, opening the ring like a gate rather than pulling it apart.

Step 2

Attach your moon connector. Close the ring by twisting the sides back together. You should feel a slight “click” when the ends meet. For extra security, gently wiggle the ends against each other to ensure a tight closure.

Your jump ring should when closed should have no gaps and be flush from all angles.

Step 3

Repeat the same process, opening a jump ring, threading on the hoop and moon and attaching it onto the chain. Close the jump ring.
