Make Silver Star Earrings: Step by Step Guide

In this project you will assemble a stylish pair of sterling silver dangly star earrings, perfect for anyone who loves celestial-themed accessories. This project is ideal for jewellery making beginners or enthusiasts looking for a quick and satisfying DIY project. When finished, you will have a dazzling pair of earrings that shine with the beauty of sterling silver, ready to complement any outfit or serve as a thoughtful, handmade gift.

What You Need:

Step 1

Slide the bead and coil on the earring hook wire up and out of the way and grip one side of the hoop using a pair of flat nose pliers.

Step 2

Grip the other side of the hoop on the earring hook wire using a pair of snipe or chain nose pliers. Twist the pliers outwards to open the hoop.

Step 3

Thread the silver star and the chain with the stars attached onto the hoop.

Step 4

Close the hoop on the earring hook wire by gripping either side of the hoop using snipe, chain or flat nose pliers and twist inwards making sure it aligns and is flush against the hook wire.
Repeat to make a second earring.
