Step 1
Measure the metal blank using digital verniers and create a square template on the software. Select ‘Diamond’ from the templates on the left. Input the correct measurements, press ‘ok’ and place the metal sheet secured into the vice.

Step 2
To insert a design/text into template, click ‘Design Sample’, select ‘Deco’. Choose any design – in this case a flower. Adjust the size, fill it to the desired metal measurement and line thickness to preferred style.

Step 3
To create your tool path, select the design. Select hatching tool path and enter the engraving details, then click ‘create toolpath’.

Step 4
Now send the engraving design to machine from the computer by selecting the tool path. Click ‘Magic-E7’ and click ‘start engraving button.

Step 5
Here, check the boundary mode by clicking and holding the arrows on the front of the machine to see the boundary area. Press the ‘play’ button on the machine this will then show engraving process. Once finished remove the sheet from the vice and its finished!

Step 6
Your engraving is now done.
