If you’re new to the world of CNC machinery or are simply after an upgrade to anything you may currently have, we’ve spoken to our team of experts to help you understand just what the Magic E7 and S7 machines are and how they can change your manufacturing process.
Is this a laser machine/what is the difference between this and a laser machine?
No, this is not a laser engraver or cutter. This is a desktop CNC machine and uses a diamond engraving tip and end mill cutter to physically mark and cut away the metal.
What is the difference between the S7 and E7?
The S7 has a smaller motor and no probe, meaning it can only shallow engrave with a diamond tip tool, the E7 has a larger motor and a probe allowing it to cut through metal up to 2mm thick and deep relief engrave using an end mill cutter.

Is the software free with this machine?
Yes
Is the machine and software easy to use?
While the idea of learning new software can be intimidating, overall, the Magic E7 and S7 have a very user-friendly interface, and we are always available for ongoing post-sale technical support.

What is the cutting depth on the E7?
Maximum cutting depth of 2mm on soft metals and 1.50mm on harder metals -always check the cutting depth of the end mill cutter you are using.
