    Default Hello from the Lake District

    Hi, I'm Amanda, a silversmith working in the English Lake District. I make mainly jewellery in silver and gold, but also small non-jewellery pieces. After four years I now make my living (just about!) from my work, teach, and am about to open a small studio. I'm pleased to be part of this forum as there are always things that are tricky to do, could be done better, or short cuts are discovered that are well worth sharing.

    Hi Amanda and welcome to the forum. I love the Lake District and go there at least once a year when possible, usually staying in Ambleside but occasionally in Keswick.
