Oh goody, a nice inspiring set of themes!

Is the August comp happening? I had it kindly pointed out to me that I have actually made a relevant piece of jewellery in the same month as the competition should run. This is such a rare event, I think there must be some bizarre planterary line up...

August Theme Competition
Is the competition running this month? I can't seem to locate it either.

I was wondering if the new owners of Cookson had scrapped the competition as there is no mention of the August competition 18 days into the relative month, and there was also no results of the July competition shown on the forum.

wondering if a little nudge would be beneficial. The weekly one continues and the comp would have been known as part of the merger. If anything, maybe a revamp would be good? It might be that Georgia was doing this and now it has been taken over by someone else. Rob or Adam have been responding of late.
I hope these are not withdrawn. There is so little for those who are starting out, untrained but enthusiastic (that will be me), and those who are more experienced; to have an opportunity to share collectively in a welcoming environment. It is great having an opportunity to showcase and possibly win something, which will help that journey continue. Maybe a little bit more of a promotion in the e-mag??
kindest,
Wallace

Hello Everyone,
Just to point out - this month we have decided to combine our August and September themes into one big competition, in which there are two themes – fire and fall!
There will be two winners – one for the fire category and one for the fall category. Both will win a £100 shopping spree with Cooksongold.
We look forward to seeing your designs - good luck!

Ah that's good to hear!

Here is my 'Blackberry Sprig', part of a large piece that will be an Autumn Necklace when it is completed. I am doing a necklace for each season, this will be the third in the series. It's a challenge I set myself and I am loving every minute.
