Default help with my bangle join please

Hello, this is my second bangle I have made. The join on the first one is perfect and smooth but this one, even though it has fused, the front and back have a join mark that is too deep for me to polish out. Can someone please tell me, how I managed to do this, and is it possible to fix? I used medium solder paste. Thank you, Meli

That looks like you didn't have a perfectly flush join before you soldered. I'd recommend sawing it through again, and file both edges properly flat so that the piece is seamless before you solder. Solder will only join, it will not fill a gap, or fill in the curves on your cut edges. You may want to use some binding wire to make sure the edges are very firmly butted together before soldering as well.

The two ends to be joined should fit absolutely flush with no gap before you attempt to solder - it looks like they didn't and you tried to use solder to fill in the gap. Cut through the join with your saw, file and resolder.
