I absolutely loved the two spiga necklets I had ordered when they arrived. They are super-shiny and the chain has such a beautiful texture to it. Sadly, on closer inspection I found that one out of the two had a knot in it. This is common with fine chains and I thought a little wriggle here and a wriggle there would loosen it up. After much haggling I admitted defeat and asked Cookson for a new chain. With their fantastic customer service they sent me another one out no questions asked. Today I set to work on soldering the necklets to two pendants and one of the pieces has developed two knots. They are more like kinks as obviously I haven't actually knotted the chain itself. The chain is comprised of multiple fine links and once one of them goes the wrong way a large kink develops. Again I have tried to fix it but I just can't get the two kinks out of it. I am now concerned about using the other necklet that is already soldered and ready to go in case a customer purchases the piece from a gallery and multiple kinks develop. So I will have to use another chain. Such a shame because it's a beautiful chain but this is obviously a design flaw
