I'm rating these earring clips as a middling 3 as they are completely baffling to assemble the first time but once the assembly mystery is cracked they are great!It took 4 jewellers with over 60 years experience, using the cooksons pictures and video over an hour, to work out how to get these to be tightsnap completely closed once assembled. It doesn't help that the earrings are pictured in the catalogue in a different position than they should be soldered and it isn't until you read the website description that you see its the t'other way round! Also the video doesn't show the clip part actually being put in place&adjusted which is the vital part. We finally figured that to get the earring clips to be closed securely on the ear the 'non soldered' part needs to be a lot more curved than when it's delivered to create more tension otherwise it just flaps around&doesn't grip the ear. Once we'd doctored the delivered product they closed tightly and I would use them again if needs be. In Summary..great once mastered but leave enough time for the first pair!
