I originally purchased the 3mm 4 claw version having seen it in the Bench - I was pleased with the product so decided to order more.Having used the Cookson website search facility this 6 claw version came up and I didn't notice the difference so went ahead and ordered.The claws on this 6 claw version do not seem as strong as the 4 claw version and on both of my very careful attempts at using them some of the claws on each setting bent in the middle meaning the stone was not held in a level position.Also the claws splayed unevenly around the stone ie 4 claws grouped together on one side of the stone leaving only 2 on the other side.I have no confidence that the stones will be held securely in the setting so will be returning this particular product to Cooksons.
