I love using this, I have tried many - but always return to this. the little nut at the end means it doesnt go rolling off. I have bent the tip on mine to help with placement of solder for chains. The shaft and tip are much finer than the wooden handled version. Over time it does mar, but wash it down, clean it up and like me, you will not need to replace it that often - I have used the same one for five years - still pleanty of life in it yet. If you are starting out, dont be confused with others - get this one. o
