I have had this saw for a couple of years and have found it great to use. It is comforable to hold, rigid and well balanced and feels like a good quality tool. Over the last year, however, it has become increasingly difficult to make it retain the blades, which often come out when sawing, causing cut fingers and damaged work. The ability of the screw to retain the end of the blade seems to degrade over time and now mine nolonger works. Although it is relatively inexpensive to buy, having to purchase a new one every 18 months or so makes it much less economical.

The Aston Martin of saw frames .....I found that cheaper saw frames wobble and flex when cutting, meaning that you have less control.The Swiss-Grobet saw frame is light, solid and extremely sturdy, this saw frame is the real thing and an essential in everyone's toolkits.

This is such a perfect tool. If you need to saw a lot, make this investment It does need sanding over before you start so that the frame slips smoothly through the adjustment clamp - 5 minutes with some 1000 grade.

I love this saw - it is light weight with a comfortable handle - so easy to use and control - unlike any other saw I have used

As a beginner I struggled with sawing but this very comfortable easy to use saw has changed that. Its a pleasure to use it my technique has improved considerably since starting to use it.

I have just started a jewellery design course and needed to purchase some equipment . I purchased the above saw from a recommendation and i have to say all my fellow students are after one . it is perfect for me as a beginner as i can adjust the size to use up all those broken blades when you start. Its great in the hand and easy to replace the blades. A great purchase and it gets 5 from me

Ive tried many sawhandles, but this one is absolutely brilliant Have recommended it to many people and quite a few have bought it after trying out mine. Its sooo easy to insert the blades All the other sawhandles are a pain in the butt when you have to get a new one in. But with this one its a breeze. Also the handle is very comfortable to hold.Thanks Cooksons your a great supplier

This is by far the best saw that I have come across. The way that the blades are held in the frame is different to most of the others out there, it seems much more effective and unlike others, I havent found that the screws wear down or break off. The blades are extremely easy to change and the handle is super confortable too
