They are perfect, always pay more for your tools as cheaper versions are just false economy. These are precision files made to help you create and file accurate jewellery.

For the past few years I have made do with a set of economy files. I have been intending to buy a set of Vallorbe files for a very long time but was reluctant to spend much money. However, I finally caved in and bought a set and I wish I had done so much sooner. The quality is superb, the difference between these and my economy set is extremely apparent. They are definitely worth the slightly higher price tag and if you're thinking about buying your first set of files, don't waste your time with any others!

Im a silversmithing student with a small budget but like to buy best quality I can afford - these needlefiles are one of those productsGood starter set, easy to fit in the separately available plastic handle and very easy to change over.

I always use vallourbe files, they are well worth the extra as they last much longer and are more acurate than the cheap onesthe fine cuts e.g. 6 are great to use instead of coarse wet and dry paper
