These Tronex flush cutters do exactly what they say, youd be hard pressed to find a cleaner cut. I have even looked at the wire under a microscope and its almost perfect. They offer solid, precision and comfort, great for silver and gold wire. Probably best at 1.5mm or under. Perhaps look at the larger versions for sprue cutting or memory wire.Beautifully finished, double grip handles and precisely machined. The specially designed joint features a hexagonal bolt and sleeve, which keeps the cutting edges perfectly aligned. They are tough too, not the cheaper stainless steel, these are made of high carbon tool steel that has been tempered. So they will keep their edge.They may seem expensive, but you can easily pay 3 to 4 times this price for similar pliers from other manufacturers. You really are getting the best possible quality, without the Swiss price tag. So these really are a bargain. All the Tronex range are ESD safe so great for electronics and computer use too.They come with a protective cap over the tip and presented in a lovely car box, so they make a great gift.
