Perfect Start

This bench is great for someone starting out like myself. It may be cheaper than the other benches but it does a fantastic job. Great size and sturdy. It was also very simple to assemble. I noticed some people had negatives because of the desk being quite high, however I find the bench is perfect and I am really short. I use a stool with an adjustable leaver as depending on whether I am sawing, filing or soldering, there are times I'd like to be higher and times I like to be more eye level with my work. This bench is ideal as it allows me to do this. I would definitely recommend this bench. I added a couple of coats of varnish as I didn't like the feel of the plain wood and the only negative I have to say is that the side piece for holding tools I found has been useless so far personally, as my tools are either too large for the holes provided or too small. Still, a great bench!

Mrs

I bought it as an add on to my expanding studio and at the price thought it worth a go. Easy to put together had it installed in 20 minutes.Great price and sturdy enough for the job.I did read about height issues but I work from a stool so its spot on. Really pleased overall with it.

Good Hobbyist Workbench

Sits in my home office. I can swing my desk chair to the workbench and work at the perfect height for piercing. No more back strain or needlessly broken saw blades! Large work surface for soldering or whatever. The ten minute assembly promised by the video is optimistic, but it was a very simple operation. Made from MDF and soft wood, but sturdy enough for most tasks.

Good starting point

I bought this as my first bench. Yes it is tall but that is surely the point to enable you to be able to sit and work against a bench peg at close to eye level rather than having to bend over. It is reasonably sturdy and if you want a bench to last for ever then spend more money but I looked around for something to start with and this was the best valueprice I found. It does what I need it to and compliments the space I have taken to create a workspace are being better than the make shift table I was using previously.

Way too tall

II got this bench recently, as I needed a cheap setup starting out. To my surprise it was really high - not at all suitable for sitting by. It was more like those workbenches for woodworks, or a kitchen countertop where you stand. I needed to saw off approx 20 cm of the legs. It is fine for the price, but be prepared saw, if you are looking for a height of 70-80 cm...
