New double skin vessel completed - almost

Just about finished my new double skin vessel - just need to do the finishing and thinking about silver plated finish or a patina.

Hi jlazz,
Once polished, you can get quite a jolly multi-coloured patina on copper, by selectively playing a small torch on it.

I have two personal problems here and hope you will not take offence:

As a valued member, you are entitled to use our Show and Tell as a one way admiration facility and I enjoy seeing your work, but I would much prefer it If you joined in to comment and cheer on other people's work too.

The other point is more personal, but I will risk it anyhow. I find your avatar taken at that strange angle very unsettling and flinch when it appears. Perhaps one day you can change it to a more benign image?
