    Default Gas and air torch

    Hi good people.
I've done a couple of courses where we used a gas and air torch enabling much quicker heating of steel for punch making.
However, I can't seem to find one for sale and I'm not exactly sure of the functioning ( compressed air?).
All I have seen is what looks like the same torch head with two pipes.I'm struggling at home with just a Sievert and bottle of propane.
    Any ideas please ?

Firebricks. If you box in the object you'll trap the heat; a Sievert should be fine in tgat case. Ceramic wool is another possibility, but read the safety sheets.
As for gas/air tirches, Flamefast T4s are quite good.

Thanks for that Peter. I'll check out the wool too. I've never heard of it.
