    Default My first commission!

I've just finished my first commissioned piece. It's a 16.5 inch necklace using sterling silver and amethyst beads.

    What do you think?

Does any one have any advice about showing "scale" in photos as I think these make it difficult to tell if it is a necklace or a bracelet.

beautiful. usual ways to show scale: ruler in picture, coin in picture, or my favourite, a model! but I think you can tell from those pics!

Amethyst and silver is so gorgeous!
I love the double loops in the beads.
I think it's clear that it's a necklace in these pictures. Do you have a bust?

    Thanks for the comments.

I'm pleased with the piece and so is the client. Although, it has been sold as "precious metal" 'cos the client turned down the Cookies hallmarking route and I'm not set up for hallmarking.

Lesley - no display busts no. Although I'm planning to use the template someone provided (sorry, can't remember who it was now) to create a card one for future photo ops.

Thanks Di, I thought it might be but didn't want to credit the wrong person by mistake.

Thanks for the bust template if you're reading this Boo.
