Quick heads up for anyone thinking of trying this, my local branch of Boots has this shampoo marked at 1/3 off, so it costs the princely sum of £3.32

Ooh. Obviously I had to experiment and this is after three hours. Some nice shades of bronze/purple/blue in there that I might have caught at a better stage had I thought to check. Have popped it back into the shampoo to let it get as dark as possible. Thanks Dennis, I'll be playing with this some more for sure!

I was at the supermarket and checked the head and shoulders does not contain Selenium Sulfide, so I picked up some Selsun

Not all of the formulations of 'Head and Shoulders' appear to contain Selenium Sulphide. Specifically the one Dennis has pictured and used, Head and Shoulders Scalp Relief and also, I understand, H&S Anti-Dandruff, both in cylindrical 130ml packaging, do.
