    Default black gold

    A request has come my way to make a item from black gold I though it was oil, seems not must be a plating process any one dabbled i this
    this not going well pain killers have kicked in typing too many mistakes mmght call it stumps and come bck fo another inings tomorow

    Let me apologise for my original post did not make much sense, I took some heavy duty pain killers for the first time and they had unexpected results
    I have looked up Black rhodium plating (black gold) I will investigate the possibility of a micro set up as I don't think I will have a lot of call for it although I could see it replacing oxidising solution for silver in many cases also for black highlighting for engraved items although I still don't understand why you would to plate gold black why not just use some inexpensive base metal.

    I was going to say why would you black plate gold but thought it was just me. Maybe some folks are just so rich they want to know it’s wealth even if it’s black

    I don't quite get it either... But underneath it it's still gold I suppose.
