Is it a funky nut bowl? That's daring! You'll be quite the man about town.

Ps love the beetles in your album. You make such amazing things. Cast i take it?

Nick jewellery can be made from or incorporated into many different mediums , of course I may be a bit biased as I am a Cabinet Maker and Woodturner by trade, I try to make the boxes for the jewellery I make from timber, does
    not always happen though

I've started hammering on a piece of wood to shape small pieces of copper (a lot of fun) how did you shape your beetles?

Ah then you'll be the expert at this stuff. Brilliant!

Funny you mention jewellery boxes because that's what I do exclusively now. As in make the boxes for the rings, pendants and bracelets I make myself.

Spent all afternoon today making up six new ones. Hexagonal and square.

    Cheers,

    Nick

This is my last commission order for 2018, and as per usual I'm trying to combine wood with silver to make something a little bit unique.

Everything is made from scratch, and the silver Angel and star were cast, soldered and refined by filing and so on.

The smallest tree is set with 16 x Zirconia gems using the exact same technique as we would for stone setting in precious metals. Only difference is they are epoxyed in place.

    Cheers,

    Nick

    They’re lovey. Different!
