I have been trying to find out if there is a framework available for creating a contract when doing a commission. (uni research stufff, but this can of worms has been so worth it). I have contacted National Association of Jewellers (NAJ), and Guild of Jewellery Designers (GoJD) *waves to peeps - NAJ only has a business to business contract. GoJD suggested the reason there isn't one, is that everyone is different.




However, having updated my knowledge, and understood the law on trading (including VAT), I am wondering is the info provided on a website (for example, my Sleeping Dragon Jewellery one) enough?



I am working on a framework document that can be sent in an email, or printed for local customers; but wondered if there is any measure in asking here, for what others do, and what contracts anyone else may have, or what does anyone else do?
