    Default G.N.C.C.E Manchester

Just a heads up for anyone who’s interested. The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Exhibition is on in Manchester from 11th - 14th October. Lots of beautiful work of all crafts and well worth a visit.

Thank you, worth considering, although Manchester is like the North Pole to us Londoners. Dennis..

Dennis is so lucky to have so many wonderful events on his doorstep, it’s enough to make all of us who don’t live in London green with envy! But the great northern is a wonderful event to attend, full of beautiful hand crafted items, including woodworking, ceramics, glass, jewellery and silver vessels etc it’s gorgeous, and i’ll definitely be going along (as I only live about 17 miles from Manchester). Thanks for the reminder Kellz, I’m really looking forward to it.

It is all relative 300 kilometers is not a long way here, I remember back in the 70's the foreman where I worked had just immigrated from Yorkshire he told us the story how not long after he first arrived they all jumped in the car and headed off to Sydney for lunch he did not realize it is about a 14-15 hr drive.

Went to the exhibition on Saturday and was not disappointed. The work in all genres was excellent and as usual everyone was happy to chat and pass on tips and ideas. The day was surprisingly warm Dennis but you may have been blown off your feet.
