I'm a Scorpio and a Chinese Tiger but don't rate modern astrology... but I would say that as I am a professional horary astrologer, which is based on traditional astrology from the 17th century and earlier.

I'm a tarot reader but, like you, I don't rate modern 'diviners.' I use the cards as a counselling tool and also to assist personal growth.

That's interesting Di, I was really into all this psychic/divining/fortune telling stuff but I soon learned that there was so much clap trap out there I steered away from it. Now I don't really know what I think about any of it!

There is a load of old clap trap out there but there's also a lot of good stuff out there. I'm off for some headache tablets but I'll pm you later if you're interested in how to tell the difference

I used to do Tarot but gave it up when I discovered horary - it is the most amazing form of astrology and tells me what I want to know. Modern astrology is all about telling people what they really already know about themselves!

For those that don't know, horary means of the hour and its where you ask a question which I on my understanding take the time and place (where I am at the time) to read a chart to answer a pressing question. Mostly people ask things like 'Does he love me?' or 'Is he seeing someone else?' but it can answer anything and it still astounds me today as it did when I first discovered it!

I used to like going to psychic fayres but haven't been to one in years.
