    Default Removing melee diamonds

    Hi everyone,

Hoping I can get some advice. I have a couple of scrap pieces set with lots of melee diamonds and was just wondering what is the best/simplest way to remove them?

    Thanks in advance

Best way is to dissolve the metal with acid if the stones are worth more than the metal

Thanks for the replies, they are pave set diamonds.

I would prefer not to use acid as I want maximum return on the diamonds and gold if possible.

Looks like you'll just have to cut off the beads with a scorper and push the diamonds out. It helps to have some magnification, or you'll go cross eyed. Dennis,
