    Default Melting scrap

What sort of set up do I need for melting scrap? I've ordered my crucible and handle. Got my torch. Got a couple of soldering blocks. Got some borax. But do I need some sort of heat reflecting area with fire bricks or something? Anything else I haven't thought of?

    Hi Linda

if you have enough bricks you can build a little wall but if its for only for small amounts you should be fine just resting the crucible on one, but i am sure others will have some more advice
