    Default Tips for hammer handpiece

Hi all. Been trying to find out exactly what the tips are used for. Im actually wanting to texturise my pieces and i know 2 of them are designed for this but cant get to the nitty gritty of which to buy. I was sent a cone shaped one with the handpiece and this has a flat end. Dont know what this is for either. I must type the wrong info in the search boxes!
    Thanks

Here is a link to some U tube videos. You will see that by far the most important use is for bezel setting and that is what the flat end is for.
Experiment with the others on cheap metal such as copper and you will soon know what they are capable of and what new points you might want.

As China says, you can shape the hammer heads to suit your purpose, here are some photos of my Faro hammer hand piece and the hammer heads I have altered, along with a sample of the textures they can help produce.

If it helps any, I have a Foredom tip where I set a cheap diamond, culet out, for giving a distinctive texture. No need to spring for the expensive tips for that.
