Drawings to 3D
I've been playing around with programs that allow your own photos or drawings to be transformed into 3D images. So far I've found http://app.selva3d.com/transform and https://www.shapeways.com/creator Both are fun to use but do have their limitations. Selva at least allows you to buy the STL for a small fee, but with Shapeways I believe the printed or cast product has to be ordered through them. Any other good ones anyone knows about that I may have missed? I'm still working on an idea I've had now for at least a couple years, though life seems to get in the way and I shove it on the back burner. Time to get this accomplished! It's such a detailed item that I can't do it justice by trying to carve wax or any other method I've tried!
