    Default torn paper edge

I was hoping someone could tell me how people get a torn paper like edge to metal? I have seen lots of things made like this, but have no idea how they do it! Thanks

A saw and burrs I imagine, but you will get a better answer if you post a link, or a picture, Lily.

One thing I'm pretty sure about, it's not by tearing. Dennis.

Possibly a hammered edge but like Dennis said a pic would be good

ID:	11045Thank you both of you, here are a couple of photos. I think they are probably both made using different methods, but it would be good to know your thoughts on both of these. Thank you

The first one the edges are melted, the second I think has been set that way

Yes as Sarah said, the first was heated and the torch taken away just before it collapsed. The second was rolled or hammered (or both) until it was very thin and then left in this informal shape. Dennis.
