Does anyone know a supplier of hypoallergenic earring backs that can take 0.8mm wire, preferably in the uk? The cookson ones are too tight.

Yes, Allied Gold do beautiful ones in Argentium Silver, together with matching notched posts. The website is difficult, so you might have to email or phone. Dennis.

I use the plastic Cookson's ones on 0.8mm wire - sometimes you have to take a piece of wire and shove it back and forth through them a couple of times, but they've always been okay after that - better a snug fit than loose!
