    Default Black patina

Hello, I’m just wondering if anyone knows a patina/ oxidisation process I can use on silver to achieve a very black finish .... not grey black like LOS and platinol but really really jet black... any ideas? Thankyou :-)

No, attempts to get it blacker seem to cause it to flake. Real black can be achieved by sending it to a plater who uses titanium black.
That said, oiling or waxing after patination makes it substantially darker.Dennis.
