Simple earrings made with beads and embroidery floss!

I picked up some interesting beads recently and couldn't figure out what to do with them until this morning, when I decided to put some tassels under them and make them into earrings! Using embroidery floss to give earrings made with lighter, lower-quality beads some extra visual interest is a lot of fun. You could make earrings like these with any beads you wanted, and pick out different color and bead combinations for the embroidery floss.

These earrings are very light and comfortable to wear, and since I needed a new pair of cool statement earrings I think I'll be wearing them a lot. I would love to hear what you all think of them!

These are pretty Stars. I noticed recently that tasseled earrings such as you'd find on upholstery are on trend this year, some as long as shoulder length, not particularly practical but fun!
