    I very rarely have any problems now since I started sending out those ring sizers- about 2 out of several hundred have needed adjusting and that was due to them not using the sizers correctly.
    Just make sure the sizers work with the mandrel you use.
    I take it that means as the mandrel is graduated the wider the ring the bigger the ring will be, if making on the centre line?

    Yes and be sure to turn the ring around so it is the same both ways

    I also use the plastic ring sizers, and have had no problems. Worth it!
